ILM LEVEL 3 AWARD & CERTIFICATE IN EFFECTIVE COACHING

Ideal for the manager as a coach, or coaching practitioners and self-employed coaching consultants.

Qualification aim: To provide learners with the required knowledge, skills and understanding in order to effectively coach others within an organisational context.

Audience: These qualifications are for those at all levels who want to develop their coaching knowledge, skills and understanding in order to enhance their ability and confidence in coaching. The qualifications are ideal for both new and existing coaches.

Format: The course currently comprises 6 virtual half day workshops, accompanied by individual written, coaching assignments and practical coaching hours, fully supported and guided by our expert tutors.

The programme covers three mandatory units:

  • Understanding Good Practice in Coaching within an Organisational Context (Assignment)
  • Undertaking Coaching/extended period within an Organisational Context (Portfolio)
  • Reflecting on Coaching Skills within an Organisational Context (Reflective practice)

ILM LEVEL 5 CERTIFICATE IN COACHING & MENTORING

Ideal for mid-level managers and organisational coaches. This is an undergraduate level qualification.

Qualification aim: To develop competencies, skills and ability to become a confident, well-practised coach and mentor.

Audience: This is an undergraduate level 5 qualification. Ideal for those wanting to enhance their coaching and mentoring ability, such as mid-level managers with significant responsibility for coaching/mentoring, or as a freelance organisational coach and mentor.

Format: The course comprises 10 virtual half day workshops over approximately 12 months, accompanied by individual written, coaching assignments and practical coaching hours, fully supported and guided by our expert tutors.

The programme covers three mandatory units:

  • Understanding the Skills, Principles and Practice of Effective Coaching and Mentoring within an Organisational Context (Assignment)
  • Undertaking Effective Coaching or Mentoring within an Organisational Context (Portfolio)
  • Reviewing Own Ability as a Coach or Mentor within an Organisational Context (Reflective practice)

Qualification aim: To provide learners with the required knowledge, skills and understanding in order to effectively lead and manage within an organisational context.

Audience: These qualifications are for those who want to gain the credentials of a recognised qualification while learning the key skills and understanding to enhance their leadership ability and confidence.
The qualifications are ideal for experienced, new, developing and aspiring managers to become confident leaders.

Format: Work at your own pace, in your own home, at a time that suits you. This course currently comprises 12 x 1 hour online guided learning modules, accompanied by individual written assignments.

The programme covers three mandatory units:

  • LEADERSHIP - Understanding leadership
    Understand leadership styles & qualities and review own leadership qualities and potential
  • TEAMS - Understand how to establish an effective team
    Understand how to develop and maintain effective working relationships and how to build a team
  • CONFLICT - Understanding conflict management in the workplace
    Understand conflict management in the workplace
